Throughout history, the meeting between St. Francis and Sultan Malik al Kamil stands as a beacon of compassion, respect, and reconciliation. It serves as a timeless reminder of the importance of embracing diversity and seeking common ground through peaceful means. Guided by Leonard Desroches author, peace activist and trainer, we will focus on the essence of nonviolent spirituality and the transformative power of peaceful dialogue and understanding.

During this retreat, we will delve deep into the life and teaching of St. Francis.  Through prayer, reflection, and dialogue, we will explore Francis’ love of nature, love of enemy and the spirit of nonviolence.

Join us on this journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth. Let us come together in a spirit of love and understanding, honoring the legacy of St. Francis as we strive to cultivate peace within ourselves and in the world around us.
