Come away, come pause awhile in the silence of community prayer, in the silence of nature, in the silence of the heart.
In the heart of Autumn’s abundance.
Silence will be our teacher during these days of solitude in the land, forest and shoreline of Galilee retreat Centre.
You are invited to set time apart to enter the silent land of Divine Mystery, allowing for inward-facing, heart-opening spaciousness. Held in the companioning presence of each other we will “sit in the tension of the Dark and the Light in ourselves and in our world”.
We will come together Monday October 26th at supper with conversation, with an introduction to our theme, and guidance into the Silence of the days ahead, then move into the deep time only Silence can give us.
Our days will offer spaciousness in which to rest, journal, reflect and listen to the Holy. There will be ample time to walk the land of Galilee, walking meditation in the earth labyrinth or indoor canvas labyrinth, art table, balancing our time in sitting meditation and contemplative prayer.
Though Centering prayer is our root practice, those following other silent prayer practices are welcome.
