YIN YOGA WITH CHRISTIN

Yin Yoga is a quiet, calming practice to help balance today’s fast and at times stressful world filled with over stimulation. Here you settle down into fewer passive postures for longer periods of time. Poses are primarily done seated or laying and held for 3-5 minutes, which help to improve mobility, flexibility and resilience, reduce stress and calm the body and mind.

It is a practice of letting go, releasing tension and focusing on the breath, cultivating self-kindness and patience. This practice targets the deep connective tissue or fascia in the body including tendons, ligaments, joint spaces and bones, allowing for greater opening and release. Yin yoga activates the rest and digest system of your body that is responsible for healing and regenerating.

This class is suitable for everyone, whether you are new to yoga or have an established practice. 

Join me every Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am at the beautiful Galilee Centre in the Oblate Hall.
$15 per class.
