Lacey Smith

Lacey began her movement journey over 35 years ago in her first ballet class. Through dance Lacey has experienced a vast number of mindful bodywork systems including: Pilates, Butoh, Alexander Technique, Rolfing Movement, Authentic Movement, Axis Syllabus along with improvisational forms and voice training. This gift of movement has been a constant source of deeply connecting, creating and healing. In 2011, Lacey founded Dasein Dance Theatre, a contemporary dance performance company. Shortly after she expanded the company to include a school for training young dancers, and a youth performance company. Transforming with Lacey and the community she is a part of, the fourth chapter unfolds here in Arnprior. Now Dasein Movement 4 All, Lacey brings Mindful Movement, Pilates and Voice work together to create a unique healing method. Drawing from dance, somatic and mindful movement study, teaching, creating and performing, Lacey has developed an intuitive way of connecting us to our inner and outer worlds through holistic movement that weaves an embodied practice. Lacey holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Performance Dance from Ryerson University, is certified in Pilates Process Mat and Cadillac repertoire and an associate teacher with the Society of Russian Ballet.

Emily Lamoureux

I’ve been teaching yoga and meditation for over a decade, which stemmed from the roots that my Grandmother nourished in my youth, teaching me a conscious and curious approach to Life and to Self. I also teach Mindfulness and Embodiment Courses, assisting in the inner evolution of a person’s most sacred space… within. Find yourself in an evolving flow of curiosity and wonder as we explore Mindfulness, Yoga, and Meditation together. Let’s also bring importance to educating ourselves with enjoyable ways that we can nourish our own inner gardens, creating sacred ways to live and to thrive all the days of our lives.
