Relishing a More Imaginative Church For Our Time – July 7 – 12, 2019

July 7th (Registration at 6 pm) to 12th (11 am), 2019

This 5-day retreat will be a guided meditation upon the lives & work of contemporary Christians, such as Brother Roger of Taize, Estonian composer Arvo Part, & Japanese novelist Shusaku Endo. This retreat will offer the opportunity to deepen our Christian faith with the imaginative richness & power that exists in our church today, which offers witness fit for new questions in our world.

Fr. Trevor Scott S.J. will be facilitating this program.  Trevor Scott, sj, was ordained to the priesthood in 2013 with the Society of Jesus. His ministry in the spirituality apostolate consists of creating and conducting Ignatian based retreats and spirituality workshops, as well as offering individual spiritual direction. Trevor also serves as Ecclesial Assistant to the Christian Life Community of Canada – an international lay religious association whose members strive to live out the Ignatian charism in their daily lives; is the Jesuit liaison to the Atlantic Association of the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate – an association of lay spiritual directors in the Ignatian tradition; and is the Provincial Assistant for the Spiritual Exercises Apostolate of the Society of Jesus in Canada.
