CANCELLED: Atonement (ON-Line conversation on Antisemitism in preparation for Yom Kippur) – September 22

This program has been cancelled and may be offered again in the future.  Stay tuned.

September 22, 2020 2:30-4:30 pm

Bernie Farber, writer, commentator, and the former chief executive officer of the Canadian Jewish Congress and Len Rudner, internationally recognized expert on Holocaust education, antisemitism, hate speech and interfaith dialogue will host a two-hour conversation on Atonement, antisemitism and hate as a sinful social structure.

For Christians, the month of September marks the Season of Creation. For millenia, at this time of year, Jews throughout the world have marked Rosh Hashanah – celebrating a new year of G-d’s Creation followed by Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). In the spirit of solidarity, we will explore strategies of resistance and resilience in service of the Common Good.

This is a free event open to all participants. A goodwill donation to help cover costs is welcome.
